The project, comprising the demolition of the existing building and a new development, is being developed in an exclusive location at 1,600 m above sea level. The resort is located close to the ski slope and offers unique views of several Carinthian lakes. The wellness area will feature an infinity pool, providing guests with incomparable views of the surrounding mountain landscape. The resort will comprise more than 200 beds and is intended to be operated by an international hotel operator.
STATUS
A binding term sheet as well as land-register-ready purchase agreements for the acquisition of the property have already been signed subject to conditions precedent. A new project company has been established for the project, in which the previous owner also holds a 10% stake. The required zoning designation for the hotel project is already in place. A substantial portion of the purchase price will be settled through the transfer of shares in EPH Group AG as part of a non-cash capital increase, thereby significantly strengthening the equity base of EPH Group AG.
